Dropped lines early from the Charlesgate Yacht Club after a lovely 5 night visit. Easy through the bridges and lock. A bit beamy and winds higher than forecast after turning the corner heading into Cape Code Bay. Timing was good for the canal, so we pushed on. A lot of wakes from boats running against the current in the channel--so much for the 10 mph/no wake guidance. Some swirls and standing waves in sections. Particularly choppy leaving the canal into the top of Buzzard's Bay, and far too many boats running around. Into Onset Beach, where the safe harbor marina had diesel at $4.60, and took another .25 off for the volume. Pumped out as well. Anchored just outside the mooring field, rafted back to back with Highwind.
