Overcast but calm. Current with us to Plum Gut, then lots of chop south of the inlet. Strong current against us through the cut and after--up to 3.5 knots. Decided to continue to Port Jefferson to have a mooring ball and launch through the bad weather. Water conditions were great; the only issue was wakes from boats far away, so surprising. One generated nearly +/-10 degree roll, enough to move furniture.
