A bit of an earlier start, held up a bit due to finding oil in the pan under the starboard engine. When we fueled up at Shawnee State Park Jax reved the engines before shutting them down, as Yanmar suggests. We're guessing that blew some oil out of the turbo charger. In any case, it wasn't a lot of oil, but since there was rain water in the pan as well: mess.

I cleaned it up, looked for leaks (both before and after starting), found none, so off we went. I checked it periodically through the day, but no oil.

We locked through Meldahl Lock (which has the small chamber closed for repairs) with no wait. Through the bridges of Cincinnati. Decided to call it a day at Rising Sun, where I docked and Jax did the lines--all went smooth and easy. Hit one scary sounding submerged log, but didn't sink.

Cleaned up the oil and water mess more thoroughly. Part of the problem is the starboard raw water pump is leaking water. Ordered 2 replacements plus some other stuff from Mastry's to be delivered to Green Turtle Bay.
