After walking Lizzie and stowing the dinghy we took off. Anchor came up clean. Called the Hannibal Lock and found New Martinsville had a regatta and we'd delayed until 1:30. We found a great wall at a park just downstream and tied off. After catching the first line the coast guard called and cleared us to the lock, so off we went. Locked through without incident, lots of starling nests around the lock.

A down bound boat offered us a free slip in Moundsville. When we got there we weren't certain what was on offer and decided to go onto Wheeling. Tied to the wall just before the storm hit. Made shepherd's pie, tasty as always. Running the generator to get the batteries up again. Met another boater, Butch, a mechanic, who offered to help if we needed anything.
