From one great anchorage to another. Long day, though. Left before sun was up, locked through Rankin Lock on our own, then a short run to Fulton Lock. A group had left Midway about as we left Rankin, but the lock master held them for a small sailing boat that lagged behind. We overtook it and entered the lock, then waited a bit for the sailboat with boats that had been there for maybe an hour? Not happy, I'm guessing. We stuck with the pack through the next two locks, then passed boats and ran at our preferred cruising speed, of course just to wait on them at the last lock. The sail boat broke off before that lock, with 2 others continuing to Columbus. We anchored about 5 miles above the marina. We stayed at Dewayne on the way north earlier in the year.
